Aquila Collection Safari Updates

CAPE TOWN BIG 5 SAFARI UPDATES:

While South Africa is currently on Level 1 of the risk adjusted strategy, the Aquila Collection continues to amend its offering to appeal to the local and domestic market with limited operations – and to be ready to welcome the world back to Cape Town. While we work hard on the slow road to recovery, we have some exciting announcements and updates to share with trade and industry:

EASTER OPERATIONS

Aquila Private Game Reserve and Spa, Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve and Kuganha Tented Camp will offer overnight safari experiences on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of April 2021 – for check-out on Monday 5 April 2021.

All kids on overnight stays at Aquila will enjoy an Easter treasure hunt and have access to the Kids Adventure Zone. The exciting Junior Ranger Programme will also be on offer.

Half-day safari visits will be offered at Aquila on 2, 3 and 4 April 2021 only.

7 DAYS A WEEK: 13 APRIL TO 12 MAY 2021

We are excited to announce that we will have 7 days a week availability from 13 April to 12 May 2021. This will allow our most valued guests to enjoy family friendly safari experiences, school holiday getaways and Freedom Day stays.

RAMADAN SAFARI STAYS:

Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, observers fast from sunrise to sunset and partake in nightly feasts. At Aquila Private Game Reserve we offer a serene Karoo setting for Muslim visitors to enjoy Ramadan Safari Stays between 13 April and 12 May 2021.

Please contact us to setup a meeting to discuss this new package – or click here to read more about our newly launched Ramadan Safari Stays.

INVERDOORN IN-ROOM SPA SERVICES:

We have introduced luxurious in-room spa treatments at Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve. This service will allow guests to add a self-indulgent spa treatment to their Inverdoorn stay – in the comfort of their room – taking the concept of room service to superior levels.

TRADE LOCK DOWN SALE EXTENDED:

While we are enthusiastic about the 7 days a week safari operations between 13 April and 12 May 2021, we have also opened weekend availability until end 2021.

We invite trade and industry to make use of our extended trade offer of 30% off rack at 12% commission. This offer has been extended for bookings at all three game reserves until end June 2021.

MARLIN MANOR - THE TIP OF AFRICA:

The newest offering from the Aquila Collection – a luxurious private manor at the Southernmost tip of Africa.

Positioned on 650m of private coastline along Marine Drive, the house enjoys a prime location between the coastal towns of Struisbaai and L’Agulhas.

Marlin Manor can accommodate up to 18 guests in 7 ensuite rooms. It is available as a private self catering home, a venue for small functions and weddings, or a film and photography location.

NEW LIFE IN THE KAROO:

As the Covid19 pandemic continues to throttle the tourism industry globally – the wildlife at both Aquila and Inverdoorn brought smiles to our faces with the recent birth of a giraffe at Inverdoorn – and a new baby hippo at Aquila.

A BIG THANK YOU!

We wish to thank you for your continued support on the road to recovery. The Aquila Collection is working hard to ensure we constantly evolve the guest experience and adding more offerings and products to the tourism sector of the Western Cape.
