While we all work around the clock to restart the sector and implement recovery strategies and plans, we get to pause for a moment in time and celebrate the month of love. With romance in mind, we would like to highlight the Inverdoorn experience and the recent changes to safari operations:

Like the sayings told around cosy camp fires, they say the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach.
As true as the majestic sun sets over the Karoo, so too is the expression of sharing something special with the one you love, especially when made with flavours from the heart.
This Valentine’s Day, our teams won’t forget the flowers to help our guests celebrate the day of love, in the hidden gem of the Ceres Karoo.
Our guests will indulge in a romantic 3 course experience, with our new a-la-carte set menu, set under an umbrella of stars and the kissing sun of the Karoo.
OUR INGREDIENTS FOR THE RECIPE OF LOVE THIS VALENTINE'S WEEKEND:
Friday Lunch:
- Beef Bruschetta served with Rocket, Caramelized Onions, Sundried Tomatoes, Cucumber, Basil Pesto Mayo, Balsamic Reduction and Feta Cheese
- Greek Salad
- Dessert: Mini Fruit Pavlova served with granadilla pulp
Friday Dinner:
- Starter: Springbok Carpaccio served with Sour Cream, Rocket, Capers, Blue Berries, Pecan nuts and Red Wine Reduction
- Main: Beef Sirloin Steak with a Green Peppercorn & Rosemary Sauce OR Dorado Fish with a Butter Garlic Sauce
- Above served with Pea & Potato Mash and Caramelized Carrots and Beetroot
Friday Dessert:
- Devils Chocolate Pudding served with Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream
INVERDOORN GENERAL MANAGER:
We would like to introduce and welcome our recently appointed Inverdoorn General Manager: Storm de Lange. Her industry experience, welcoming style, personal touch and attention to detail will impress your guests and add to the already exceptional services and facilities at the property.
INVERDOORN DAY TRIPS:
Please note that the day trip programme at Inverdoorn has been suspended with immediate effect. All day trip enquiries can be serviced at Aquila Private Game Reserve and Spa.
The trade portal and rate information has been updated.
INVERDOORN FOOD OFFERING:
The Inverdoorn buffet offering has been removed and replaced with a set menu plated service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Guests will be informed of the menu options at check-in.
INVERDOORN SAFARIS UNTIL 30 APRIL 2021:
We are delighted to welcome our most valued guests to Inverdoorn on weekends.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and the economic situation around the tourism sector, we were forced to minimise our operations in order for us to help save jobs as lock downs continue world-wide.
Please note that we are therefore only open on weekends (Friday and Saturday night) from 15 January to 30 April 2021.
We will continue to update all our public and trade platforms about any other operational changes throughout 2021.
