Dear Trade Partner,
As South Africa moves to Level 2 lock down regulations, the Aquila Collection Trade Division would like to bring the following updates to your attention:
Trade partners can look forward to making post COVID19 recovery bookings for arrival from 01 October 2020.
The format of the immediate recovery period safari offering might be slightly different to the standard offering in an attempt to manage guests and bookings as per the suggested hygiene protocols and capacity management.
Further updates will be made continuously.
On 24 June 2020 further updates regarding Coronavirus cancellations and deferments were distributed. Please click here to read more about the ongoing process.
Delivering safe and world-class service together with magnificent Cape Town big 5 safaris.
The Aquila Collection have always taken safe and hygienic services at heart, and will continue to do so in the post-COVID19 world when we bring back our friendly staff and welcome back our most valued guests.

During lock down, the Aquila Collection introduced its new online portal which gives access to all trade information, rates and updates. This is a new industry only website with registration access only.
This new portal gives access to your specific nett level rates. Please click here to register your online profile.
We are excited to announce that we are holding our 2019/20 rates for the 2020/21 contracting period. Previous communication included a slight increase in the Aquila Private Game Reserve Standard Lodge room rate.
The online portal rates have been updated and the Standard Lodge room rates have been reverted to the 2019/20 rates.
Further to the exciting rates announcement, the Aquila Collection considered the input of partners and announced a revised STO agreement for the 2020/21 contracting period.
These changes follow best practice and offer COVID19 specific terms and conditions.
South Africa remains in lock down. The National State of Disaster Act enforcement is extended until 15 September 2020.
Although the Big 5 reserves are offering limited domestic safari services during August and September in an effort to support our staff in the Karoo – the Aquila Collection head office administration remains temporarily closed.
Trade division contact details are available on the trade portal and a limited Monday to Friday office hours reception service is available via our main contact number: +27 (0)21 430 7260.
